Praying for the Nation
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people--for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

Below are a some basic things to pray:

Leaders

Pray for the grace of God and a heart of love for God and our nation, the people they serve.
Clarity and wisdom to do what is best.
​Fast and pray for God’s will in His people chosen to lead.
Pray for God to open hearts and minds to see what is right and do what is best for the people they serve; to increase their wisdom.
Pray for God's choice of leaders in the nation, and for leaders who will support Israel and exercise godly wisdom.

Law Enforcement

Pray that God will grant breakthrough to those fighting evil in the nation, including terrorism, drugs and sex slavery. Ask God for increase of wisdom and ability to hinder scare tactics and real attacks.

General or prodigals

Pray that God will send forth His Word healing the broken, hurting and in need; that it will be honored, drawing many to His love. Pray for Christians to share the gospel in season and out of with those God has placed around us, our relatives and loved ones with God’s love in the way He desires. Ps. 107:20

Christian Leaders

Ask God to give them boldness and courage to do what is right in the times we live, and give them godly wisdom that is beyond man's ability.
